It’s that time again…seniors are graduating from high school! This is a very exciting time where all the hard work that was put in for4 years finally starts to pay off. After years of anticipation and near mental-breakdowns, finally walking across the stage with diploma in hand is a very liberating feeling. It is an all-around awesome, once in a lifetime experience! At the time, graduating feels like the final chapter, and it very much is in the sense that you are closing a chapter on part of your life. That being said, graduating high school is actually only the beginning to the rest of your life and what is to come. The real excitement to graduating is not simply getting through high school, but preparing to embark on yet another journey—one that holds endless possibilities. Many times students are made to believe that college is the one and only option upon finishing high school and without it, they will fail in life. This is simply not true. There are many options after high school and you get to choose what is best for you at this point in your life! While a college degree can be very beneficial and helpful in career opportunities, it does not define you and make you any more or any less of a person.
