About Us

YouthLine is a peer-to-peer help, support, and crisis line serving youth ages 10-24 across the United States since 2000. Our program has three components: YouthLine’s help, support, and crisis line; youth development, mentorship, and workforce development; and classroom education and community outreach. We partner locally, regionally, and nationally to support youth mental health.

YouthLine Native

YouthLine Native provides help, support, and crisis intervention for Native and Indigenous youth ages 10-24 across the United States.

YouthLine strives to give specific attention to communities historically forgotten in conversations about mental health. This led to the creation and launch of YouthLine Native – taking the already strong foundations of YouthLine, collaborating with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Nine Tribes of Oregon, and tribal communities across the nation to create culturally-responsive training on mental health for native youth, promoting help-seeking behaviors by normalizing reaching out for help, and reducing stigma in accessing services.

YouthLine Hawai‘i

YouthLine is partnering with mental health organizations and government agencies across Hawai‘i to launch a call center on Maui.

In late 2023, YouthLine leaders were invited by providers on Maui and across the state to connect with government, healthcare, and nonprofit leaders in Hawai‘i to explore bringing the various components of the program to their state. After more than a year of relationship-building, learning, and planning, YouthLine secured local support to hire staff, provide training to young adults and youth-serving agencies, and launch a call center in early 2026 after hosting the first YouthLine training on the island of Maui in Fall 2025.
